There is only one true living God.  However, in comparison to any human person, the Bible shows that God is the unit of three personalities who never disagree nor can be separated in our thinking.  They are referred to as God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit.  To respect one is to respect the other two persons.  To obey one is to obey the other two persons.  To know one is to know all three.
